Granchildren At The End Of The Rainbow

Grandkids beam

I couldn’t resist making a painting of my grandchildren all together. It depicts my 10-year-old grandson in the middle, my 4-year-old granddaughter on the left and my 5-year-old grandson on the right. They are all staring into the rainbow arm in arm. The caption says “Grandchildren are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow”.  Again, I used a burning tool and burned this caption into the wood canvas. Burning the wood gives another enhancement to the art that otherwise could not be accomplished on a normal painting canvas. It’s a colorful piece. Just a side note…when you pick a theme to paint, make it a bit personal. The more personal it is, the easier it will be to paint and in the end it will be more rewarding.
